We built Source Centre because we know the problems hiring managers and businesses face every day with their recruitment.

Twenty-five years on the supplier side of UK specialist engineering recruitment taught us what the hiring managers we worked with were dealing with every day. The slow shortlists. The chaotic inboxes. The MSPs who treated fairness as a memo and speed as someone else’s problem. Source Centre is what we built when we’d had enough of watching it happen.

We’ve been on the supplier side. We saw what wasn’t working.

Every hiring manager, every procurement lead, every finance team we worked with had the same three complaints. We logged them.

Specialism over breadth

We chose to be the best at specialist engineering recruitment, contract and permanent, rather than acceptable at every trade under the sun. Same platform, same compliance regime, same supplier list logic. We don’t pretend to know retail recruitment.

Transparency over neutrality theatre

Open data. Published pricing. Compliance gates that block bad submissions at source. Your procurement, finance and compliance teams get direct read-access, so they verify what they need themselves rather than asking us for screenshots.

Software, not services dressed up as software

Most MSPs are services companies with a CRM bolted on. Source Centre is the other way round. The platform is the product, and our service team are operators of it, not workarounds for it. That’s why everything is in one place.
